Klingons On The Starboard Bow

Members of Star Trek universe will be invading the National Space Centre next weekend, 26-27 June.

A message has been received from the Chancellor of the Klingon Empire and those wishing to pay homage to the superior race should be at the National Space Centre from 10am on either Saturday or Sunday.

To entertain the Earthlings who are wise enough to head this message, the Klingons will be offering the bravest warriors a Bat’Leth training session with the legendary Klingon Weapons.

However parents should not worry, as members of the Federation will be on hand to ensure no Klingons get out of control, not sure they can say that for the Romulans though!

These sworn foes from across the galaxy have come together to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Research, with all monies raised this weekend being donated to charity.

Visitors will also be able to take part in Klingon Treasure Trails, children’s craft sessions, a Romulan Hunt and even take a seat in Jean-Luc Picards Chair as part of a display of props from the iconic TV series.

Costume characters will be on duty throughout the weekend, including Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the ever trusty android Data.
