How long will our visit last?
The National Space Centre is a half day visitor attraction, with a suggested dwell time of 3 to 4 hours in the galleries and enjoying a show in the Space Theatre. 

Do you have guided tours?
No, your entry ticket will give you a day’s unlimited access to enjoy the themed galleries at your own pace.

Do we have to book before visiting?
To qualify for your group discount you must book in advance with our bookings team on 0116 258 2111

Is there coach parking?
Yes, we have a free coach park on site.

What catering facilities do you have?
At the Space Centre you can dine underneath the gigantic rockets in Boosters Restaurant, which serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and light snacks.
There is space to eat pack lunches on picnic benches in the courtyard, and there is sometimes space available in a designated area of the Space Centre. Please call to check availability before your visit.

Can I reserve tickets?
Yes, you can reserve a group booking at the National Space Centre, but this will need to be confirmed 5 working days prior to your arrival.  Upon confirmation you must let us know the exact numbers in your party.  This is the number you will need to pay for upon arrival.  If numbers drop, or you do not make your visit you will be invoiced for the full amount.

Are there any restrictions on dates I can get a group discount?
Yes, some special events will have a minimum entry price.  Group discounts will not be available on these dates and you will be informed of these dates upon booking.

Do you offer free familiarisation visits?
Yes, leaders of organised group visits, or teachers planning a school visit to National Space Centre are entitled to a free preview visit (subject to minimum numbers)  Please ask about your preview visit when booking.
