The National Space Centre is an all weather attraction for all the family. Situated in the heart of the Midlands, located just two miles from Leicester city centre, the centre provides easy access from the M1 and M69.

On site facilities include over 400 parking spaces, gift shop, restaurant, locker hire and all the other standard facilities you would expect from a top visitor attraction. 

 

We know how expensive it can be to take the whole family out for the day, so imagine if you could enjoy 318 amazing days out and only pay for one!

Discover three new interactive zones at the National Space Centre this summer in the most exciting new experience ever launched!

This is Rocket Science*
Every Day - 11am, 1pm, 3pm

Will you build a rocket for the Soviets or America? Make your choice and build you're very own rocket and see how far you can launch it.

Space Race... you decide!
Every Day - 12.15pm, 2.15pm

Be taken on a journey through the facts of the Space Race, then it's up to you to decide if the USA or the USSR won.

Dawn of the Space Age*
Every Day - 2.30pm

From the launch of the first artificial satellite sputnik, to the magnificent lunar landings, be immersed and overwhelmed with this most accurate historic reconstruction of Man’s first steps into space. Who were these Men and Women that took part in these death defying endeavours? Witness their drive, their passion, and their perseverance to explore, in "Dawn of the Space Age".

Exterminate (P)
11-12 September

Daleks from the last 40 years will be invading the National Space Centre and threatening to “exterminate” visitors to raise money for Children in Need.

 

A Brickish Weekend with LEGO
16-17 October

Come along to enjoy the amazing LEGO creations from the UK Brickish Association.
