YOUR MISSION
As soon as they walk through the doors of the Challenger Learning Centre students are submerged into a space mission environment.
Here they take control of their very own space mission and are split into two teams: Mission Controllers and Astronauts.
The teams complete tasks which are modelled directly on the types of activities astronauts actually carry out whilst on the International Space Station.
They must then work towards the mission objectives creating an exciting team environment, which exposes participants to the demands of co-operation, problem-solving, communication and decision-making. Learning is rarely such great fun!
Missions last approximately 2½ hours. Morning missions start at 10.00am, afternoon missions start at 1.00pm.
We recommend that you arrive half an hour before your mission starts.
