It's Christmas (in your head was that Slade?)

The sun may be shining outside, for a brief moment, but inside it is thoughts of Santa and his jolly little helpers that are filling our heads.

Yes Christmas is now well underway in the planning stages and we have been comparing Santas (there doesn't seem to be a comparison site for this area, so a gap in the market for all you budding entrepreners, or Meerkats).

This year we are trying something completely different based on feedback from visitors over the last three years. We have had real fun brainstorming all the ideas from the Space Crew and come up with two exciting packages that are family focused and not something we have done in the past, but they do say you should always challenge yourself.

I think my favourite part has been chatting to Santa to make sure both Breakfast with Santa and Lunch with Santa are fun for children, but also for Mum, Dad and the whole family.

Next week we are having a menu tasting session to go through the breakfast buffet and lunch carvery options, as well as an extended session on desserts and vegetarian options just for me (I love my job). We are also ordering gifts, so I get to have a huge shopping session to buy presents for all the children.

Santa has been giving me lots of helpful advice, but it is weird chatting to a chap who really does "ho ho ho" while you speak, especially in June.
