Rain Delays Lift Launch...

You are probably all getting a little depressed by the rain, it really is getting everywhere, including into the electrical circuits that run the lifts in our Rocket Tower.

On Friday we thought the Rocket Tower was going to float away and on second inspection it seemed that there was a need for boats not lifts to make a journey in this space.

This has left our technical team working through the night to try to fix the problem, but localised flooding on Saturday made matters worse and the lifts stopped working on the first day of our summer holiday period.

We have now managed to pump out the water and repairs are underway to fix all of the electrical parts that have been damaged.  Water pumps have been ordered and will be fitted upon arrival.

This is not how we intended to launch our summer, but for the next few weeks we will not have lift access in the Rocket Tower.

I am sure you can see this is out of our control and we are working hard to fix it, we want a sunny and exciting summer as much as you, but for now we have a slight delay on the launch pad.

We of course will offer a FREE return ticket to anybody who can't access the stairs in the Rocket Tower, just let the Space Crew know when you buy your ticket.

For those of you who fancy a challenge, the Rocket Tower has 144 stairs and there are three amazing decks to stop and see on your way up.  Coming down is much easier!
