Really exciting week working on a special launch event for a brand new show in our huge planetarium.

We Are Aliens! will be show number 11 created by NSC Creative for the National Space Centre. Yes, that is a new show every year since we opened!

NSC Creative are the team based at the National Space Centre, but their work really has become international.  In many ways I should still be angry with them, I used to have a lovely office with a window, but when their team grew from 6 to double figures, they needed more room and I lost the daylight and gained a private office.

I could never be angry with them, the shows they create still amaze me and I have no idea how they can make anything that wonderous in a dark room, however large it may be (they put up blinds!!!)

Their shows currently inspire audiences all over the world, at last count it was 24 countries, but it changes all the time.  It is very exciting to think that this multi-award winning team export their talents all over the world from my old office.

Enough of them, the launch is the big project of the week and I have been booking liquid nitrogen freezing ice cream makers, gourmet popcorn (lemon poppy seed flavour anybody?) and slime makers to entertain the premiere audience before the show is unveiled.
