Moon Burger Competition

Last month 250 people joined us for a VIP launch event.  This month you could win a FREE Family Annual Pass and dinner at Ed's Easy Diner in Leicester!

The National Space Centre has joined forces with the newly opened Ed's Easy Diner in the Highcross Centre in Leicester to create a fun competition that requires a little more thinking than the usual run of the mill quizzes, but then this is no run of the mill prize.

Head on over to Twitter and tell us, using the hashtag #MoonBurger, how many Classic Ed's Burgers, stacked one on top of the other, it would take to reach the Moon on 04 November 2012.

Now a little clue is in the fact that we have told you the date and for all you clever space geeks out there, you will realise that the distance is not constant, so a date in this little bit of maths is important.

We can only tell you that the Ed's Classic Burger is truly scrummy, well we had to make sure this competition prize was good enough for you, we forgot to see just how tall they are, so we can't give you any help there.

We can also tell you that the answer is hyperthetical, we didn't actually stack them to check, so uses of cocktail sticks or similar are all in the realms of fantasy and not part of the answer.

So what do you have to do to win a FREE Family Annual Pass and dinner for the family at Ed's Easy Diner in Leicester...

  • Head on over to Twitter
  • Use the hashtag #MoonBurger in your Tweet
  • Tell us how many Ed's Classic Burgers it would take to reach to Moon on 04 November 2012
  • Sit back and wait to see if you are the lucky winner, we'll let you know on Twitter on 05 November

Good Luck!
