Mission Objectives: The Emergency Response Squad must repair a Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellite.

Reason: This satellite is vital for collecting environmental condition data from Earth-based probes. It then transmits this information to ground-based stations such as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California. Six teams trained in satellite design and environmental survey have been called in. They are the elite ERS-1 (Emergency Response Squad).

Mission date: NOW

Requirements for accomplishing a successful mission: One half of the ERS-1 crew will be stationed on the LEO Space Lab and will work diligently to repair the satellite. While the satellite is being repaired, the data collection teams must collect and transmit to Mission Control the data normally gathered by the satellite.
