Need some extra resources to help with teaching “The Earth and Beyond”? Our “Lessons in a Box” loan boxes are filled with useful aids to learning.
WHAT ARE LESSONS IN A BOX?
Produced in conjunction with the University of Leicester, the National Space Centre is able to offer schools loan boxes to complement the teaching of the “Earth and Beyond” element of the science National Curriculum. The boxes contain lessons and activities based around a range of resources such as models, videos, pictures and games originally designed by university staff and students. These can make difficult astronomical concepts easier to understand.
We recommend reading the teacher’s notes prior to use to see which activities are appropriate to your groups.
