Exhibitor and Trader Displays
We have a selection of costuming groups, exhibitions, activities and traders throughout the Centre in our galleries, LIVE Space talk area, Shuttle Suites, and Space Oddities gallery.
* some activities will incur a separate charge.
Main Galleries

2. Galactic Gathering Passport
Grab a passport from the Information Desk and head out to find all six stamps that you are looking for! Collect all six and you can return to the Information Stand to claim your limited edition enamel pin badge (six to collect in total).

3. Blast-a-Rebel / Blast-a-Sith / Blast-a-Mando
Join members of the Rebel Legion, The Dark Empire, and Mandalorian Mercenaries for a NERF shoot off. Are you more accurate than a Stormtrooper?

4. Crafty Chocolates
Head on over to get a tasty memento from the event, including Droids made of chocolate, and some truffles from planets far, far away.

5. Geeky Nerd Toys
Need something Star Wars to take home? If you are looking for a small toy or the ultimate in collectables, then go and see the Geeky team.

6. Rebel Legion
The Rebel Legion is an international non-profit Star Wars costuming organisation whose members craft highly accurate costumes representing the ‘good guys’ characters from a galaxy far, far away.

7. Mandalorian Mercenaries
Mandalorian Mercs are a costuming group dedicated to Mandalorian Culture. The UK's Vok'Chi Clan was founded in late 2007 and since then have supported hundreds of events, and raised money for charity.

8. The Dark Empire
“The purpose of The Dark Empire is to promote multi-generational fandom and appreciation of STAR WARS through acts of charity, and to encourage creative costuming as custom or canon characters representing the “dark side”, and “soldiers of fortune” including smugglers, pirates and bounty hunters (non-Mandalorian) of the Star Wars universe.”

9. Craft Workshops
Our in-house Space Communications team are getting crafty this weekend. Drop in to make magnets, headbands, picture frames, and more.

National Space Centre 10. 501st UK Garrison
The UK Garrison, part of the 501st, is the preferred Star Wars Imperial costuming group of Lucasfilm. The members work together to support national and local charities and good causes.

10. Droid Hunt
The 501st Droid Hunt is played by fans all over the world. Drop by the 501st UK Garrison table to get your Droid lanyard. Wear this around the Centre and if you are caught by an Imperial you will receive a ticket to potentially win one of the prizes on offer (all monies go to charity).

11/12. Speeder Bike / Emperor's Throne
Take a seat on the Emperor's Throne (watch out Rebels), or head to Endor on a Speeder Bike thanks to the 501st UK Garrison. There will be many other photo opportunities over the weekend, so keep those phones and cameras handy.

Join the Asmodee team and explore an exciting range of Star Wars-themed games. From family favourites to kids' adventures and deeper experiences for dedicated players, there's something for every fan of the galaxy far, far away.

16. Sci-fi-nalia
Sci-Fi-Nalia UK..... 3D printed paraphernalia of the Sci-Fi variety. Close your eyes and picture this: a room filled with iconic sci-fi treasures-lightsabres, ships, helmets, and mysterious artefacts. What’s your must-have item in that collection?

13. Droid Builders UK
These really are the droids you are looking for. Droidbuilders UK aims to pull together all of the various droid building groups across the UK.

14. Saber Guild Naboo Temple
Drop in for a Lightsaber class with these Jedi Masters. There will be timed child and adult classes throughout the day (please book on the day at the Saber Guild stand - offered on a first come first served basis).

Program cool rolling robots to zoom through tricky mazes using simple block coding. Solve puzzles, think fast, and see if your bot can beat the trail! -
Games of Star Wars (8-18)

Battle beasts in Dejarik or outsmart opponents in Sabacc—just like in Star Wars! Use strategy, math, and a bit of luck to win... and remember: always let the Wookiee win! -

Astromech Coding & Programming (6-18)

Press Badge Making (all ages)

Get creative with custom badge-making—draw your favourite droids or invent your own designs, then turn them into real, wearable pin badges using the badge press. -
Binary Code Bracelets (6-12)

Learn the secret language of droids and turn your name into binary code using beads. Create a cool bracelet that shows off your new coding skills—and take it home to wear and share. -
Colour the Force & Light Sabers (Glowsticks) (4-12)

Choose the light or dark side and bring Star Wars scenes and characters to life with your own drawings. Then craft your very own mini lightsaber to take home—Jedi creativity, unlocked. -
Origami Star Wars (6-14)

Discover the magic of origami by turning paper into cool animals and shapes using just folds. Build your focus, patience, and skills while making amazing designs step by step.

Parade
Make sure you stay to the end of the day as all our costume characters will join us for a final parade, before heading out to the main courtyard for a photo opportunity. We close at 17:00, but at 16:00 make way for Imperials, Rebels, Sith, Mandos, and Droids.

Passports and Badges
Head to the Information Desk to get your shiny Galactic Gathering passport (this is yours to take home and bring back next year). As you enjoy your day around the Centre look for the 6 stamps for your passport. Once you have collected all six stamps return to the Information Desk to claim your limited edition enamel badge (there are six to collect in total). The passport, including one badge, is £4.
