Festive Film Club presents The Grinch (2018)

Bring the whole family to meet everyone’s favourite Christmas grouch in Illumination’s animated hit The Grinch (2018), screening on the giant planetarium screen at the National Space Centre.

This special family-friendly showing is perfect for little Whos, with a shorter running time, colourful animation, and plenty of laughs. Alongside the film, our Discovery team will add even more festive fun with costumes and magical surprises to make your Christmas outing truly unforgettable.

Illumination’s heartwarming animated tale follows the green grouch himself, who lives in a cave above Who-ville with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. Every year, the Whos celebrate Christmas with joy, noise, and sparkle — much to the Grinch’s annoyance. Determined to put a stop to the holiday cheer, he hatches a plan to steal Christmas. But when he crosses paths with the kind and determined Cindy-Lou Who, his frosty heart might just begin to thaw.

Full of festive fun, colourful animation, and laugh-out-loud moments, The Grinch (2018) is the perfect Christmas film for younger audiences and families.
