Festive Film Club presents How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

Experience Jim Carrey at his mischievous best in the live-action Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). With unforgettable costumes, larger-than-life comedy, and plenty of festive chaos, this nostalgic favourite is the perfect seasonal treat for adults and older audiences.

Enjoy the mayhem of Who-ville on the giant cinema screen at the National Space Centre, surrounded by festive fun and holiday atmosphere. Whether you’re reliving the magic or discovering it for the first time, it’s a Christmas cinema experience like no other.

For younger audiences and families, we’ll also be showing Illumination’s animated The Grinch (2018) earlier in the day — a fun, colourful option designed especially for little Whos.

High above the town of Who-ville lives the Grinch, a bad-tempered recluse who despises Christmas. With his loyal dog Max, he plots to steal the festive season from the ever-cheerful Whos. But when he encounters the kind-hearted Cindy Lou Who, his plan begins to unravel in unexpected ways.

Jim Carrey’s unforgettable performance brings Dr. Seuss’s classic tale to life in this larger-than-life live-action adaptation, packed with comedy, heart, and a healthy dose of festive mischief.
